I meant to explain why the blog is called Pig Farm Road, we actually live on Wildwood Road. The house is located on 40 acres, and about 2 of them are open field. We have an old garage that is barely standing upright, a newer 4 stall garage, a silo, an outhouse, and an old shed that is on an old barn pad; along with various other random concrete structures that we may never find out what they were for. We were initially told that the property was an old dairy but after meeting a nice neighbor during the snow 2 weeks ago, we learned it was an old pig farm, and that the road used to be called Pig Farm Road. After I found that out, I told Kit we very likely need to get a pig… it only makes sense now.

In other news at Wildwood, we held our first get together with a group of COGGS folk this weekend. We attempted to play cards and we were mildly successful! We’ve been working on walking and skiing our trails in, I think we have about a km ready to go. I attempted to bike the trails the other day, I got about 10 ft with 2 crashes and decided I wasn’t ready for that!
